For Young Golfers

Built for the way kids learn.

Our kids clinics are designed for ages five to sixteen, creating a fun, supportive environment where young golfers can learn, build confidence, and develop their skills. With age-appropriate instruction and a focus on both fundamentals and enjoyment, each clinic helps kids grow their game while having a great time.

The Lab's private, climate-controlled setting removes the typical barriers to junior golf — heat, intimidation, distraction. In their place we offer a small, focused space where every swing is seen and every question is welcomed.

Most kids leave their first session asking when they can come back. That, more than anything else, is the goal.

Age Groups

Three groups, three approaches.

We split clinics into age-appropriate cohorts so the instruction matches the learner.

Sprouts · Ages 5–8

Movement, balance, and the joy of contact. Our youngest group works with shorter clubs, larger targets, and lots of small successes — building the muscle memory and the smile that the game requires.

Juniors · Ages 9–12

The fundamentals — grip, posture, alignment, and a repeatable swing. Simulator data turns into a game of its own as kids learn to read the numbers behind their shots and chase real improvement.

Teens · Ages 13–16

Course management, shot shaping, mental approach. Our oldest group works on real-game application — playing simulated rounds, charting their progress, and building the kind of golf game that travels with them.

How It Works

The shape of a clinic.

A clear, predictable rhythm — kids do best with structure.

Group Size

Clinics are kept intentionally small — typically four to six kids per session — so each child receives meaningful attention and time on the simulator. This is not a high-volume program. It is designed around the child, not the calendar.

Session Length

Sessions run sixty to seventy-five minutes depending on age. Younger groups skew shorter; teens skew longer. Each session is divided between guided instruction, structured drills, and free play on the simulator — the moment kids are usually waiting for.

Series Structure

Most clinics run as a four-session series, allowing kids to return each week and build on the previous lesson. We also offer school-break and summer intensives — three to five days of consecutive sessions for kids on holiday.

Equipment

We have loaner clubs sized for every age group, so first-time kids can arrive empty-handed. If your child plays already, we welcome them to bring their own.

We have built the Lab to be the kind of place a kid wants to come back to. The rest takes care of itself.

Family Membership Considerations

Members of the Lab receive preferred clinic rates for their children. Families with multiple young golfers, or those balancing serious junior development with normal school schedules, are welcome to speak with us about a tailored plan.

Frequently Asked

For parents.

My child has never held a club. Is that alright?

It is more than alright — it is, frankly, our favorite kind of student. The clinics are explicitly designed to welcome first-time players, and the simulator removes a lot of the early friction that comes with traditional ranges.

Can I stay and watch?

Of course. Parents are welcome in the lounge. Many parents like to sit nearby, watch the simulator screens, and let their child have the focused attention of the coach.

How do I sign up?

Reach out via the contact page or call us at (305) 363-7385. We'll walk you through the upcoming clinic schedule and find the right group for your child.

Do you offer one-on-one junior lessons?

Yes — for kids who want to go deeper, our private instructors offer one-on-one sessions tailored to junior golfers. These work especially well alongside or after a clinic series.
